US president George W. Bush has implemented new sanctions against Burma. The Australian government will also implement sanctions in the near future. Activists rallied Wednesday in front of the Chinese embassies in London, Paris, Berlin, Dublin, Wien, Sydney, Washington, Toronto, New York, Brasilia, Bangkok, and Cape Town. 

Join our demonstration Saturday at 1 a.m. at Torgalmenningen. There will be appeals and a quiet march around the square behind the banner of the democracy movement. Dress in something red, and contribute to make it heard that also Bergen demands freedom for the Burmese people!
