Bergen for Burma

US pres­i­dent George W. Bush has imple­ment­ed new sanc­tions against Bur­ma. The Aus­tralian gov­ern­ment will also imple­ment sanc­tions in the near future. Activists ral­lied Wednes­day in front of the Chi­nese embassies in Lon­don, Paris, Berlin, Dublin, Wien, Syd­ney, Wash­ing­ton, Toron­to, New York, Brasil­ia, Bangkok, and Cape Town. 

Join our demon­stra­tion Sat­ur­day at 1 a.m. at Tor­gal­men­nin­gen. There will be appeals and a qui­et march around the square behind the ban­ner of the democ­ra­cy move­ment. Dress in some­thing red, and con­tribute to make it heard that also Bergen demands free­dom for the Burmese people!
